Hub is an innovative music project in Stroud, Gloucestershire that aims to bring musicians together and to provide a space in which musical and sound concepts may be realised.

The project is committed to providing low cost rehearsal space to musicians wanting to experiment, develop new work and to work on ongoing projects.

The projects aim is to build an equipment resource and skills bank that may be used by its members and to provide a supportive framework in which music, sound, video, performance, visual and digital arts can combine for project collaboration and sonic activity.

The Hub is back

We've been away for a while..Last July the hub studio was badly flooded and unfortunately is no more, though the studio gear was saved and recordings with local artists continue at Stroud Valleys Artspace. Recent recordings included Ceilidh-Jo Rowes brilliant new EP Over the Valleys, which was launched at a party back in November, and is now available at Kanes Records. Over the coming year, the hub has lots of great gigs planned, with cabaret nights monthly in Stroud.. Also the hub acoustic keeps going strong in the sub rooms cafe every wednesday.
